Amazing program. For touchscreen devices, it would be wonderful to have customizable screen buttons for each application. On my HTC wizard I am restricted to using the D-pad for key mapping because the other hardware buttons are still mapped to PDA/Phone functions. Having touchscreen buttons would give access to more controls, and enable a truly "Universal Remote." This feature could be toggled between the mouse feature on touch screens (which is amazing and fun in itself).
Keep up the good work on this excellent program and thanks for keeping it free!!

Hey Man! Your software is great. Since I bought my HTC3300 I am looking for something like this. Because of my job I hold presentations frequently. Your utility will allow me to move. It gives freedom. It gives new flavour to the audiance. Unfortunately also my phone uses the h/w and s/w keys almost strictly to system functions. A several button GUI could make it perfect. A Custom User Interface or Touch Screen buttons would be very helpful. Some controls for iTunes and for PowerPoint would be extremely helpful. I remember when I had my PALM PDA, there was a free bluetooth program called PCPilot, it had on-screen buttons for iTunes, Windows Media Player, and PowerPoint. The application would even show the name of the song you were playing and the presentation notes for each slide of the PowerPoint presentation! These are essential (control through WiFi would also be nice, but that could come later). Thanks and keep up the good work.

This is in my feature list, but I don't know when I'll be implementing it.
Keep checking the site for updates :)

Hey Jérôme and community I've been tinkering around with BRC for some time now and let me tell you: It is pure awesomeness. I'm controlling the HTPC software Meedio/MeediOS (check it out guys: some screenshots of the brilliant Vintage theme) with it and a custom UI would really be the most needed feature. A "basic" UI with Play, pause, ffw, rwd, next, previous, cursor keys and enter would be already enough, user defined key mapping would be a dream. Have you given any more thoughts to that feature, Jérôme?

Have you given any more thoughts to that feature, Jérôme? Hi Wip ! Thanks for your great feedback ! I'm glad you find this software useful :) For now, custom UI is indeed not supported, and I think that if you are able to control Meedio, you must have created your own configuration, or been using the keyboard mapping maybe. I think I'll try to update the configuration file to allow the creation of custom UI, I'll work on that... I didn't have much time to work on my software lately, but I think I'll be working on it again soon. Thanks again ! -- jerome

I completely understand in case you have other priorities - we ought to be happy to have such a great piece of software in the first place. Consider me tinkering and checking back repeatedly. Thanks again.

cool, looking forward to having a UI and custom buttons.
generic media buttons would be awesome for a start... play/pause, stop, previous, next, volume, home, back.
thanks!
